On Amazon.com, you can apparently pre-order a DVD with the highlights of the 2009 World Series... starring the New York Yankees and Los Angeles Dodgers. I guess they know something that we don't.

Well i already dont plan on watching much of the playoffs from here on out..But knowing this, If the dogers and yankees win and move on, especially if there are some iffy calles. Im definatly not watching. This is going to look bad for MLB, if that happens.

this would explain a lot about MLB. it would help us Pittsburgh fans understand why we r always getting prospects and never winning anything. b/c Bud Selig is a horrible commissioner and he wants to see the 'BIG CITY' teams do well. he will make up every reason he can think of as to why the small market teams r doing well, despite consistently losing. he said somethings in the past weeks about how he thinks the Pirates and other small markets teams r competitive. i guess he will just keep believing his own lies. i can't wait till baseball has a new commish. this one S*CKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Selig has nothing to do with Pittsburgh getting all those great prospects that you always trade away.  I don't think you need to hope for a new commisioner but a new owner of your team.

? Thats silly... what about Tampa Bay going to the World Series last year?? and Colorado in 2007?? Some of those well-played/coached small markets overcome the odds.
