On Saturday 23 seniors will touch the Gator head and walk through the tunnel and into the swamp for the last time, but when these Gators leave the field it will be as the most successful senior class in SEC history.

Florida's super senior class
23 Seniors on the 2009 team.
2 National championships(on course for a third)
46-6 Overall record for the class.
27-5 SEC record for the class.
25-2 Record at Florida Field.
14-3 Record against ranked teams.
11-1 Record vs. Tennessee, Georgia, Florida State and Miami

This will be an emotional end for some of the greatest Gators to wear the Orange and Blue, but as Urban Meyer points out there or some lesser known names on this team that are just as important to the success as Tebow and Spikes.

"I just think, you've got Jermaine, you've got Riley Cooper, who do you want to take out of that class?" Meyer said. "That's the thing I want to be very cautious about. There's two guys that are very visible for us and deservedly so. But take Coop out of there and this doesn't happen. Take Jermaine out, this didn't happen. It wouldn't happen. And there are many guys in that class that have done a great job. Take Ryan Stamper out of that recruiting class and I assure you that this record, those accomplishments don't occur."

We end the regular season with our instate rivals FSU at 3:30. A lot is riding on this game the undefeated season, #1 ranking, National title hopes, 21 game winning streak, and the senior class being able to say they never lost to the Seminoles. The emotions will be running high and somehow the Gators will have to reign it in and get the job done. 10 down and 3 to go.

I just can't see Meyer, Tebow, and Spikes letting this team slip when the gaol is within their reach. Congrats to the senior class for their accomplishments and to this years team for what they have done. Keep it up boys the promise land is insight. Go Gators!!!
