50th Year of Baseball, along with being back outdoors, Minnesota Twins go back to a pretty classic look.
READ MORE:
The Minnesota Twins got a 'new' image for next season as they start their 50th season of MLB in the North Star State. However, it's the vintage look that many Twins fans will enjoy again this upcoming year.

The home jerseys with the old white and red "Twins" smooth text and pinstripes to what old stars like Harmon, Rod, and Tony were known to wear here. The away jerseys are in solid gray and have "Minnesota" across the chest in script.

Twins OF (Soon to be every-day CF) Denard Span had this to say about the throwbacks: "These are sweet ... I kind of feel like Harmon Killebrew or Rod Carew. These are the same uniforms they wore. I'm just glad that we'll get the opportunity to wear these and go out to the new stadium with these uniforms on."

Very nice. I am happy to see teams going with more classic looks these days.

Good luck trying to get games in in the spring and Fall Outdoors in Minnesota. I think they atleast needed to put a retractable roof on that thing. But that is just my opinion.

I like the old throw back jerseys. Some teams do have terrible ones, but most are simple and not over the top.

I do know fans won't mind (already got tickets for the Cardinal/Twins exhibitions in early-mid April), definitely something for the players to adjust to though. Those that made Target Field made sure right away that if they weren't going to have a roof, they'd figure out how to keep the field ideal through all the snow/freezing rain, and we'll see how well they did very soon. Although, with it being near the end of November, and still in the 50's everyday here, maybe there's nothing to even worry about..
