A new conservative wave.......
READ MORE:
With the exception of the District 23 race in upstate NY, it appears that the voters have sent a message that congress and the President have shifted our government too much to the left.  Do you think this sends a message to the politicians for the 2010 midterm elections?

I don't think anything sends them a msg with the exception of being replaced. Right up until being replaced they still hold to their little slogans while doing there best to screw us over every way they can.

Am I cynical when it comes to Gov't and PolitK ... you bet I am.

There were four very unique races last night.  However, the two that were federal races were won by Democrats, including a seat that hadn't been held by a non-Republican since 1871.  Overwhelming majorities in Virginia and New Jersey said their votes had nothing to do with Obama.  In the end, nothing concrete came out of last night, but if you had to make a case that the electorate was voting pro or anti-Obama its more logical to say pro-Obama based on the fact that Democrats gained a seat last night in the House.  That said, last night meant nothing.

Awesome!  Keep thinking that!  Your viewpoint is exactly what we need to put more conservatives in office from the 2010 elections!  I hope that it happens, someone needs to put the brakes on all the wastful spending and new entitlement programs that our Country can't afford!  Vote them all out and replace them with people who have common sense and are fiscally responsible!

Well, let's just hope the conservative elements recognize why so many people were vying for change and make any necessary adjustments accordingly.  Both of the major parties need a lesson in humility and to refocus upon voting their conscience based upon an informed perspective, and not to just 'tow the party line'; this is a trend that has created the greatest shifts in power between the left and right (distinctively) since the first major shift 1992.

What i think last night said is , we are voting out everyone in office and starting over.  Nobody else could do any worse with our tax dollars.
