As Al Davis id set to turn a milestone of 80, and the Raiders organization celebrating it's 50th year this article gives a nice look into the early years of Mr.Davis. Having had the opportunity to meet he, and his wife at John Maddens HOF inauguration he has got to be one if the classiest people I have ever met. We as Raider fans take some grief from the other 32 teams about him, but we all know that the game of football would not be the same with out him and all the contributions he has made to the sport. Happy B-Day Al Davis!!
