AFC playoff picture is still very mixed up

The NFC playoff spots have all been filled. The only issue is with the seeding. But we already know the 6 teams that will get in, at the very least.

The AFC, on the other hand, is a ticking time bomb. It's still theoretically possible to end up with 8 teams tied at 8-8, and 6 of those teams would miss the playoffs.

Right now, the Jets and Ravens are the ones who can control their destiny. If they win, they're in. The Steelers, Broncos and Texans are also currently tied with them at 8-7, and the Titans, Dolphins and Jaguars are all sitting at 7-8.

If I had to guess, I'd say the Broncos and Ravens have the best chance to win next week and make the playoffs. But as we've seen all year, anything can happen.
