Adrian Peterson's father wants a QB who can keep defenders out of the box
Adrian Peterson's dad must have forgotten how the whole Brett Favre thing works
20
Peterson's dad wants the Vikings to bring in Favre, saying that it will keep defenders out of the box, allowing more room for his son to run.

While that's probably true, let's not forget that Brett will still throw the ball 40 times per game, and at least 2 of those will be to the other team. In the end, that's not going to help Adrian Peterson's carries at all.

Breaking news: Favre was found dead in his Mississippi home. No he really isn't, but with all the attention that Farrah and Michael have gotten this week. I am shocked that he didn't fake his own death to get his name out there. Come on Brett what is wrong with you, people are talking about someone other than you. How in the world can you let this happen?

Never thought I would agree with an article of Pat's right outta the box...and the worst part is I am (was) a Favre fan!!

You heard it here first, Jackson worked hard on film study and his mechanics in the offseason he might be poised for a solid season, if he beats out Rosenfels.

Great idea Mr. Peterson. Instead of the defense ganging up on your boy, they'll be getting 3 picks a game, probably one of which will be a pick-six. And thats better....right?

Leave Brett alone! You all think that he is just trying to get attention but you don't see it through the eyes of a fourty year old veteren qb whos been playing in the nfl longer then some of yall's lives. He's already payed his dues to the NFL, so if he wants to come back, then let him without giving him all of this bs

When  he makes a decision and sticks with it I will quit bashing him and I truly hope someone gives him a "Brady" and forces him to retire for good.

If your truly bye this well cultivated "everyman" image of his, I got some Ocean Front property to sell you in Wyoming.

Adrian Peterson's father must be on drugs if he thinks that having Brett Favre is going to make a difference.  There are some teams that will alway be mediocre and the Viking is one of those teams

Maybe Mr. Peterson can also remind his son that if he stops fumbling, he'll be a Hall-of-Famer, with or without Brett Favre.

just because he has played so long doesnt mean anything. and if we look at it from his perspective, then about hafway through the season we'll be thinking about retirement and blow the season. stay retired brett. and save some of your body. you dont want the last couple of years give your career a black eye, or your body a broken bone.

here is the kicker he won't have to find something to do or be away from football. All the networks will be lining up to get his as a "analyst" or "commentator".

Leave Brett alone? He needs to just leave US alone. THe problem isn't that he wants to come back. The problem is all of his douchebaggery when he does. He prostitutes himself to the spotlight in overly dramatic fashion in his "will he? won't he" storyline. I don't give a damn if he plays till he's 60, just shut the hell up about it instead of being an attention slut.
