Any time a team gets off to a bad start, and are able to turn it around is impressive because it is easy to pack it in. It takes a special team/person to stay postitive, mentally tough, and turn the season around.. There are not many teams in sport's history who are able to achieve what Rutgers has, which would be equilevant to making the playoffs in professional sports.

Rutgers had a pretty tough schedule to start the season, and got smacked in the mouth by losing to Frenso St, UNC, Navy, at Cincy, at West Virginia, with their only win over Morgan St. Every team above has 7 wins except for Navy at 6, and every team should be in Bowl Games. I am not saying Rutgers is a great team, just that it is impressive to stay mentally tough after their start to the season, and become Bowl Eligible with still one game left on their schedule.
