Fatigue?!? I love baseball, I really do but it's not at the top of the list of most athletic sports. How in the hell can a baseball player cry fatigue? I call shenanigans.

 I have relatives that are a part of a big sports family, one of them playing in MLB so I do have an idea of what their schedule entails.It's a bitch.  And yes, it is athletic but not to the degree of fatigue. More than half of the game is spent on the bench. Traveling is more wear and tear than the actual game unless you are a pitcher or a catcher. How many other players do you see out with fatigue? Now let's compare that directly to the countless photos of a-rod galavanting around town. If you're getting paid that much money to play baseball, then it is your responsibility to manage your off time  wisely.  Did I want to stay out until 2am last night doing beer funnels and playing dodgeball? Yes. But I couldn't because I don't get paid millions of dollars to have the luxury of "fatigue".

It's possible of course but if you can't hack the stress then it's time to reevaluate your place in the sport. Also, when you're put on the DL for fatigue and get caught leaving parties in Miami at 2:30am the weekend that you are supposedly "fatigued", I do have to call bulls***. It's like getting busted skipping school. It's quite juvenile and unprofessional. I'm actually starting to wonder if this isn't his way of getting off the Yankees.
