Amare Stoudemire and Stephen Curry trade rumors
Amare Stoudemire for Stephen Curry? It's the latest rumor... and it sounds serious.
21
The latest rumor: Stoudemire to the Warriors for Stephen Curry and Andris Biedrins.

It's not set in stone by any stretch of the imagination, but it is picking up steam rather quickly, and it has already been made clear that the Suns are pushing it.

I have heard this rumor involving Marco Bellinelli, Stephen Curry, Anthony Randolph, and/or Brandan Wright, which would make absolutely ZERO sense.  If this is the latest proposal, it still makes little sense.  Sacrifce your future for a possible 1 year rental of a player that isn't near the defensive player as Biedrins and won't create nearly as much excitement as Stephen Curry.  If this happens, it would just be another poor move by Warriors' management.  Curry + Ellis = high scoring excitement.
Yeah, as someone who makes zero sense, even I know this.

Oh it is on.  Hard push right now from the Suns to get Curry into the Stoudamire deal.  Trying to find out more info and not trying to get my boy fired.

Maybe I should direct you to the Warriors' or even the Raiders' employment websites, I think you are a shoe-in with those qualifications (but you gotta give yourself more credit than that!).

I think they even have some standards.

Wouldn't the trading of Shaq free up the middle for Amar'e?  This move would seem to be completely counterproductive for the Suns, especially since Amar'e is still a young guy.

Being a die-hard Warriors fan I think we can all say one thing with absolute certainty.  No matter what happens with this trade it is not going to end well for the Warriors.  Just looking at Curry, doesn't he have Moped Accident Part II written all over him?  And Amare reminds me a little bit too much of Chris Webber for comfort.  Plus, Nelson's back and starting to have trouble with NBA egos again.  And now the league won't even let him drink Bud Light after games...  It's starting to feel like 1994 all over again...

I totally agree. The Shaq trade was stupid in the first place, but Marion was complaining about not getting his touches, so the front office had 2 do something. I was ecstatic when I heard we were getting rid of The Big Cactus, but when the Amare talks came up, I realized just how dumb the front office really is! Amare is an amazing player, and I'd take one more year with him if that's all that he was willing to do, but the Suns aren't as smart as me and they don't want to make the playoff's this coming year either!!

Curry is a perfect fit in Golden State and he is perfect for the Suns... of a few years ago when he could have played for Dantoni but now he'd be part of a very, very long rebuilding process.  Good luck to all involved.  By the way I am hearing Amare to the Bulls rumors here in Chicago.

The Suns seem like they are set on blowing their whole team up, going right to the bottom. That's the only reason why I can think that they decided to keep Kerr instead of D'antoni, why they traded for Shaq, why they traded Shaq away and why they are trying to trade Stat now.

I don't see how anything they are doing is actually getting Nash closer to a ring instead of out of the playoffs and in the lottery.

I AGREE WITH BLUDEVIL WHOLE HEARTED LY AND I IN MY OPINION THINK KERR SHOULD BE FIRED FOR WHAT HE HAS DONE TO WHAT USED TO BE AN EXCITING TEAM TO WATCH AND CHEER FOR.HES DRIVEN THIS TEAM TO THE GROUND AND TRADED ALL THE GOOD CORE OF PLAYERS BECAUSE HE FELT POWER IN WHAT HE WAS DOING. IN ALL ,ALL HE DID WAS DISTANT THE FANS FROM THE SUNS AND HE SHOULD BE LOOKED AT LIKE THE CULPRIT OF THE SUNS DEMISE ..CAUSE HE IS IN NO WAY A MASTER OF MANAGING ANY TEAM  EXCEPT MAYBE A GRADE SCHOOL

If this trade is made the Valley of the sun is doomed . Golden State will benefit only to finish in front of Phoenix in the standings. Dumb trade for both teams. Hang Steve Kerr
