Antonio Pierce says that playing the Raiders felt like a scrimmage
Antonio Pierce says playing the Raiders felt like a scrimmage. It looked like one, too.
15
Pierce, on a SIrius NFL Radio interview, said:
"I do not like knocking teams. But right now, they're struggling. We're playing that game the other day and, honestly, it felt like a scrimmage, like a practice. It felt like we were going against our offense (in a controlled setting) as far as the tempo."

Not much of a surprise... it was a complete debacle. The Giants won 44-7, and the game was never in question... not even for a moment.

Every team that has drawn the Raiders outside of the AFC West should be thanking the NFL for providing them with a free extra bye week

What are we talking about practice??? We're talking about practice. Not a game, not a game, not a game, we're talking about practice.
Signed,
Alan Iverson

Twenty years ago, people were scared to death to play the Raiders.  I can't believe it has come to this.

Kind of a douchey thing to say, but it's the truth. Hopefully for the Raiders Pierce speaking the truth will make them realize that they suck and they will do something about it.

It looked like a preseason game. The only thing that kept it interesting was to see how badly Jamarcus Russell could eff up.

The Raiders are who we thought they were.

I believe AP was trying to get focused on the upcoming game w/ the Saints.  They can't take stock in what happened against Oakland.
