Atlanta Falcons players complain about windows in Cowboys Stadium
There's already another issue with the Cowboys' new stadium. Apparently they are using trickeration with the windows.

First it was the scoreboard... now it's windows, according to the Falcons. From PFT:
"Atlanta Falcons coach Mike Smith is complaining during today's game at Dallas that the sun is shining through the end zone windows and directly into his players' eyes, affecting their play."

This is an interesting development. Think it's a legit complaint? Or is just a case of the Falcons trying to find an excuse for their loss?

I wouldn't put anything past Jerry Jones, but the "sunlight" excuse doesn't really work for me.  The Falcons are the better team (I thought), but they didn't get it done.

They were bringing this up during the game. While it looked annoying, I'm not sure how intentional it was. But in the end, it's up to your team to find ways to win despite the elements around you.

And unless the sun was wearing a #33 jersey and unable to find holes to run to, I don't think it contributed to the loss. In fact, I think the sun was wearing an Austin jersey, and burning our secondary.

Excuse. The Cowboys don't cause the sun to shine and they switch the direction they drive toward every quarter to make it fair.

Hmmmmmmm maybe the Falcons are complaining about the Cowboys' home white jerseys getting in their eyes. No wonder they lost!

I noticed the sun during the game... but the problem is I noticed it while the sun was in the Cowboys face in the 4th quarter

Is it just me, or are there an awful lot more "princesses" complaining about everything in playing football this year?

The sunlight through the windows wasn't near as bad as the glare through Texas Stadium's hole in the roof.  Smith should be thankful that the roof was closed on Sunday!

everybody has the same opinion as me about the windows.  Both teams had to play with the same elements.  The Falcons got the worst of it only because they were greedy and wanted the ball first to start the game. lol
Plus, when is the last time the ball has hit the scoreboard on a punt?  Pre season?  I remember everyone was on Jerry about this.  Im going to go ahead and file that under the non-issue catagory.

Wordsmith , you could not be any further from the truth . Any  true Cowboy Fan from the metroplex area will tell you that Jerry Jones is the evil offspring of Al Davis

Cowboys dealt with the same thing. Complaining because they got beat. The sun was in Austin's face when he made that ausome catch that the Falcons challenged. Its part the game.

It was said during the game...if they wanted the curtains down to cover the windows it should of been done at HALF TIME...if the other team/s want it covered they have to say so then, not after the 3rd quarter starts.

Maybe they were looking up into the windows while there team got spanked trying to think of an exuse.

However, He also won the coin toss and chose to receive rather than defer and could have chosen what side he could have ended the game on. Part of this is his own fault.

The sun has always shined through the hole in the roof in the old stadium, and what about stadiums without a dome, the sun shines on the whole field . . . that's a totally lame excuse!

It's amazing that now Jerry Jones and the Cowboys control the elements in the universe. What a crock of Smit. Maybe we can conjure up some voodoo for the next game. Bottom line the Falcons aren't as good as they thought they were and Dallas finally put together all the talent in a single game. And as far as Miles Austin. I've been a fan since day one. This guy has speed and can make a play!  TO who?
