Ben Sheets signs with the Oakland Athletics for one year, $8M

Ben Sheets didn't see the field all year last year, but the A's were impressed with his physical, and are convinced enough that he's healthy to give him upwards of $8M to pitch for them this year.

This is a great deal for Sheets, especially considering his injury history, which is pretty sad, and borders on unreal.
