Bernie Ecclestone, Formula One chief, says Hitler got things done. Ok then.

F1 boss praises Hitler, endorses tyranny. Which, if you've been following F1 recently, should come as no surprise.

Bernie Ecclestone, the Formula One chief, recently chastised contemporary politicians for their weakness and extolled the virtues of strong leadership.....by praising Hitler. Um, nice work, dumbass.

This of course comes on the heels of Ecclestone's friend Max Mosley - who is the president of the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA) - getting caught last year in a sadomasochistic sex scandal where he had hookers dress up as Nazi SS officers. Oh, and Mosley is the son of Oswald Mosley, the former leader of the British Union of Fascists.

So, uh, anyone else a bit frightened by all of this? I sure as hell am.

2	Who says racism isn't bred...... Fortunately, with a more interactive social global culture, the bridges between peoples of differing culture, nationalities, beliefs, (and the dumbest form of ignorance) color is declining. This example, as are others such as this just shows that people need to maintain vigilance as to not be fooled by such idiocy.

Sad, but true....perhaps it's my sense of optimism, but I do firmly believe that (percentage-wise), more people are rejecting the ignorance of various forms of prejudice. Unfortunately, groups such as the Neo-Nazi's are attracting individuals of more extreme mindsets.

0	Now I have a good reason not to follow Formula 1. I'll stick to that other French organization (ACO) that governs the 24 Hours of Le Mans rule book. Formula 1 has a major problem anyways with the racing teams leaving. Now this kind of statement.
