Best and worst tracks on the NASCAR circuit
What are the best and worst tracks on the NASCAR circuit?
READ MORE:
It's a constant debate amongst NASCAR fans. What are the best and worst tracks on the circuit? Well, Yahoo's NASCAR blog - From the Marbles - has their own take, which is really no better or worse than yours, but let's take a look at it anyway.

Drumroll please.

The best tracks are:

1. Daytona (duh)
2. Bristol
3. Talladega

The worst tracks are:

1. Pocono
2. California
3. Michigan

Let the debate begin!

MAYBE THEY SHOULD PUT THESE GUYS ON A DIRT TRACK AND LET THEM DO SOME REAL "SOUTH" DRIVING LIKE THEY DO HERE ON SATURDAY NIGHTS!!

I disagree with one of the worst being Michigan, and instead would say Atlanta. or Homestead.

Talladega is NOT one of the best tracks ... my gawd talk about boring racing ... follow the pack around for 150 laps then watch the Big One. BORING

Come on the road courses have to be ratted at the bottom if not the bottom 3 atleast bottom 5

Medium to small tracks are more fun to watch :) Except for Daytona.

The best track is Darlington hands down, then Bristol before the repaving, Atlanta, Daytona.

Worst tracks are Loudon, Fontana, Michigan, Terribly boring racing going on there. I'm not much a fan of Pocono but it is a unique track.

Other than disagreeing with Michigan being in there, and putting California a mile ahead of Pocono, I agree.  Don't know what I would put as the third worst though, perhaps Homestead - it has the final race of the year, but other than that.............

I have to say Dega is the best, it isnt just the track , its the atmosphere and the party, then I would say Bristol, and Darlington (cant wait to get to those!) Daytona is a must do, but I am pretty burnt on it, lol..and the 400 is always better than the 500. Martinsville has to be right up there also!

As for the worst, I am not a fan of road courses, but I gotta say, for any hard core Nascar fan, there really isnt a bad track when there's racing, other fans, beer, and BBQ...JMHO

Worst is easily California, I'd put Loudon up there, with Chicago/Kansas.

Best IMO is Darlington, it's a shame they took away a race there.  Can't argue with Daytona/Bristol.

i think the best racetrack is Daytona and MIS but there really is not a bad track it depends on the day

Daytona is my fav track ! The drivers can get up to top speed and really fight it out. Daytona races are always exciting!

Did you actually see the race this past week, how can you call that track, the worst, hell the paint was rubbed off the sides of most of the cars, from all the beaten and banging going on, you'd have thought they were at Bristol.

Homestead nor Atlanta have been sold out in years... Just not real fan friendly.

Not sure why people dislike the roadies so much. I thought the race at Sonoma was fantastic! It's nice to change it up once in awhile from boring ovals. To be the best in Nascar, you should show you can race on a road course and it gives some of the other guys like Robby Gordon, Said, Fellows, and Ambrose at legitimate shot at winning a race.

The road courses should be the worst. Nascar is drive fast and turn left.

Are you saying that we should boaring races designed to let other drivers win sometimes? So whats next the parking lot race where each driver drives out and sees who gets the best fan reaction so that JR can finally win something too?

count me in as another road race fan, i don't see how anyone who watched the Sonoma race could call that one boring...as far as the worst track my vote goes to Pocono 3 times......

I believe it is Bristol, Darlington, Talladega.  The worst is definitely Homestead hands down. Most of the other tracks I have been to were all ok.

I agree with the 3 worst. But I would have to say the 3 best are Bristol, Darlington and Richmond.
