Big Ten Weekend Preview
Wisconsin at Purdue - The winner will have the early edge in the two team race to Indy. If this game took place a month ago, I'd say that the Boilers would run away with it. If this matchup were to take place a month from now, I'd wager that the Badgers would get some rest for their starters early thanks to a lopsided victory. Right now, it seems either of these scenarios could occur. Who will when the battle in the trenches will likely determine the outcome here.
Line: Purdue -2
Northwestern at Minnesota - The Wildcats are coming off their first loss of the year while the host Gophers are coming off a bye. Can Northwestern leave their loss to Penn State in the rear view? Can MarQueis Gray make a difference?
Line: Northwestern -3.5
Iowa at Michigan State - Iowa RB Mark Weisman made an appearance on the Big Ten Network show "The Journey" and what a remarkable journey it's been for the underdog story. Can he continue his terrific season against Michigan State? Will the MSU offense show the punch that they've been lacking all season?
Line: Michigan State -9
Ohio State at Indiana - Apparently, Indiana football officials have chosen the Buckeyes trip to Bloomington as their opportunity to get an overhead picture of the stadium filled with red. Unfortunately, Ohio State has gotten wind of this pathetic yet sly tactic and urged their fans to wear grey. That won' t be the only plan they spoil on Saturday. Ohio State is rolling right now.
Line: Ohio State -17.5
Illinois at Michigan - In what might be the most lopsided matchup this weekend, Michigan looks to keep their train rolling after a blowout victory last week. QB Denard Robinson will have his way with a weak Illini D. Can Illinois pull the massive upset in Ann Arbor? Magic 8 ball says "Not likely."
Line: Michigan -24.5
