Gopher Junior, Blake Hoffarber scored a school record 8 3's tonight against the Northern Illinois Huskies in a 89-48 win at the Barn.

Hoffarber has been on an absolute streak as of late, and he came out of the gates with four consecutive 3-pointers in a span of 2 minutes early in the first half. Inexplicably, Tubby Smith took him out right after his quick 12 points, and only got another 5 minutes of play in the 1st half. Early in the 2nd half, Hoffarber also got injured with an apparent left ankle injury, but came back with about 10 minutes left with new tape as well as a brace on the ankle.

Hoffarber finished out the game 9-11 from the floor (8/10 3-pt FG), 26 points in just 22 minutes.

Blake is probably known for these two amazing shots, but just goes to show you he can make the conventional one every now and then too.
