With a new coach and two new coordinators running the show, it will be an interesting season for the Warriors. They play a difficult schedule, lost most of the stars from the Sugar Bowl run and aren't sure who's going to step up in the crucible of competition.
At first glance, a winning season would be quite an accomplishment. An even closer look reveals the Warriors are rebuilding after producing the most successful season in the history of the program. Now, the Warriors face the daunting task of finding suitable replacements at quarterback, wide receiver and defensive back. If this can be done, the Warriors have a good chance of at least breaking even. If not, it could be a long year for McMackin in his first as a head coach of a Bowl Subdivision program.
He was a happy man this offseason. Let's see if he's still so cheerful by year's end.
