Bob Ryan wishes James Posey well in New Orleans. Just kidding, says the Hornets are getting "pure mercenary, totally devoid of sentiment."

This is the most overhyped, overrated move of the off-season.  New Orleans will be no better and will regret this signing by the end of the year.

Hey Bob aren't you devoid of common sense and tact?

+1 thumbs upWas he expecting Posey to have some sort of loyalty to the C's after being in Boston for a year? He was a free agent... what's the problem? The Hornets are going to be his 6th team in his career... and I really see no problem with that.

+2 thumbs upSee, Boston's had such a great sports year that the columnists there are just making junk up at this time.

Hey Bob, basketball is at it's core a business. How dare Posey go somewhere else to make more money!

Bite me Bob.

Sounds like ESPN and their "Titletown" crap... and their "Who's Now" series they did about a year ago... and a slew of other crap. Maybe Bob's trying to get some more face time on shows like PTI and Around the Horn.

Well it is an overhyped move, Posey will help New Orleans in the long run with his experience and defense but he is definitely not worth 6 million dollars a year.
