When Helton flirted with .400 in 2000, people wouldn't shut up about it. He batted .400 thru June and then slipped and then got it back to .400 by the middle of August but then the media took over and he ended up at .372. I didn't think anybody would ever come that close again, and I still don't think anybody will. Would be awesome though.
