Brett Favre discusses comeback on Joe Buck Live
On Joe Buck's HBO show, Brett Favre admits what everyone already knows
25
Brett Favre said on Joe Buck Live that he was considering a comeback with the Vikings, and that it 'made sense':

"I am considering it. It makes perfect sense as far as coming back because I ran that offense for 16 years. I can teach the offense.

The direct question and answer to "Are you considering playing with the Vikings next year", Brett responded with, "maybe".

It will be another 2-3 weeks of this crap before he finally says yes.

And how fitting that he "came out the closet" in a conversation with Joe Buck Yuck.

I prefer "Trapped In the Cupboard".

I made a dash for the cupboard.
Tried to hide in the cupboard.
They pulled me away from the cupboard.
I said, "Look officer, you can't take me away. I have three more of these videos to make to complete my urban opera."
So here we are now,
At the end of the story,
And I'm going to jail,
This time not for statutory... tory... tory... tory...

Aside from the Favre garbage, how sad that there's a Joe Buck show.

I watched it and flipping back to Magic's Biggest Secrets Finally Revealed....so yea, kind of a slow tv day..

Btw, this is Joe Buck's 2nd show - first one was online, but still.

I agree.  I think I already have it on my profile that Joe Buck is my least favorite announcer.....Thanks for affirming my impression Joe!

As far as Brett's concerned, I actually got the impression that everything depends upon the successful nature of the surgery on his throwing arm.  All I can say is, one way or another, the sooner a definitive decision is made, the better for the Vikings--it's already become too much of a distraction.

Distractions? you kidding me...we have had ton with the vikings....remember the sex boat, Onterrio Smith being caught with a whizzinator, the current williams drug issue, the randy moss problems we had including him fake mooning green bay....were full of distractions...so bring them on...were ready for 'em!

Except for the current Williams' case, all those events were pre-Childress.  It's a whole different team and a whole new set of circumstances now.

I have seen Joe Schmuck--ERRRRRRR--Buck do a game between  my tribe against the Yanks. When DeRosa, I believe, hit a grand slam, in the Indians 22-0 pasting of the Yanks, Schmuck, showed no excitement in that grand slam. Two reasons: 1) He's nowhere near like his late father Jack; He totally STINKS! and 2) something tells me he doesn't want the Indians to win; he's a Yankees fan; Bottom line: Schmuck is a jerk an idiot a fathead a dodo and a dipstick; GO TRIBE!!!

Joe Buck a Yankees fan, while being raised in St. Louis, Missouri as a Cardinal fan? Not to mention the years he worked as the AAA affiliate for St. Louis in St. Petersburg, and then the 16 years of Cardinals coverage on radio and local tv. Yup, that has NY Yankees written all over it.

No excitement because of a Cleveland home run? When have you ever heard excitement in Joe Buck's voice? He just doesn't have it. He's monotone and a very dry man, he knows it, and goes with it. That's the only gripe you have? Sad on your part.

No, he's not Jack, he never once said he was his father in any sense, and while you do see him embrace some stories he seemingly will always hear about his dad, it's probably something we all would get sick of hearing by year 20.

It's not about your team nor one you deliriously think he's for or against, it's about you not having a single realistic reason to hate on the man and attempt to make a real argument.

To all (and anyone who cares),

This is only an issue because we, the fans, make it as such. If we don't talk about it in forums such as this, then networks/writers/NFL "Experts" wouldn't bring it up and Bret would not have a vehicle to hold our emotions in check. We, collectively, show the interest in the subject so something thinks they can make a buck off it.
