It look like Brad Childress has had enough of Brett Favre's BS. Childress has reportedly told Favre he has until the end of this week to tell the Vikings if he will play for them in 2009.

The one problem is that Favre just recently had surgery on his throwing shoulder and still isn't 100%.

It would seem reasonable that both Favre and the Vikings want to know his shoulder is healthy before reaching an agreement, and the team is virtually certain to insist on seeing the 39-year-old quarterback throw before any contract is signed. Minnesota has four organized team activity sessions this week, beginning Tuesday.

Something tells me this deadline will come and pass and it won't make any difference, but that's just me.

5	Brad - that is a rookie mistake. Favre can't make his 15 decisions in one week. He needs to several weeks to flip-flop back and forth.

1	I love it....he can say he's going to retire and leave it at that....unitl the end of July when he's itching to make a comeback. And you KNOW the Vikes will take him. Childress is a clown.

1	The only way for Favre to repair his tarnished rep, is to retire. He never should have come back as a Jet. His career should have ended in Green Bay.

For Brett this is PERSONAL between him and Packers GM Ted Thompson. Brett was the last Packer that Thompson didn't draft/aquire during his tenure.It's a matter of each others egos.Brett trying to prove he can still get the job done and Ted trying to say that Brett is NO longer needed and Ted wants to PUT his stamp on the Packers(since last year Ted has).
The Packers can no longer dictate to Brett what his future is.Brett wants to be a THORN in the backside of Ted Thompson before he retires...the question is about Brett's shoulder-is it healthy enough?
Like All of you all i am TIRED of this soap opera...but it will be over in a week(lets keep our fingers crossed0..:O)

Listin BearcatFan i'm a die hard Minnesota Vikings Fan and just because he is Brett Farve doesnt mean anything. All he is another QB thats all so if he says yes then the vikings will win more if he says no then we will see what happens now wont we. FYI even if BF goes to the Vikings he will always suck!!

brett favre is the biggest ego maniac i have ever seen. i never liked him as it was all me,me,me,me, with this glory hound, he loooooooved the attention and all the camera action on his ugly puss. i hope if he comes back, he is prepared as if he isnt, he will set himself up for failure, and possible big time injury. he needs to jump on his tractor and ride off into the sunset, and get off his high horse. im sick of this a-hole.
