F- Brett Favre.  You hung on to get your stats, you haven't been to a Super Bowl in ten years, and now a month before preseason games start you're going to come back and take away the starting job from a kid who's patiently waited his turn to be a QB in this league.  Way to be a distraction, ass-clown.

If the Packers organization is stupid enough to allow this "comeback" to happen, Aaron Rodgers should be on the first thing flying out of Green Bay, never to return.  The apologists and #4 Jock-sniffers will applaud this because he can do no wrong in their eyes, but the timing of this is just so selfish and arrogant it's amazing.

I like Brett Favre, but between holding the Packers hostage with his "should I stay or should I go?" drama before LAST season, and now this "itch" that EVERYONE knew was going to come, I've had enough of him.  If you've got an itch, go put some Ben-Gay on it and play some golf, douchebag.

A tough guy, but also the most over-rated quarterback EVER.

CAN AARON RODGER'S GET INJURED BEFORE WE COUNT ON BRETT FAVRE'S RETIREMENT PARTY TO BE OVER?
If I recall, Rodgers is also injury prone, as he had a foot injury in one of the few games he played in!

The local TV station reported tonight that he IS talking to the Pack about coming back this season. Since he does an occasional interview with their Sports Reporter, I consider it a real possibility.

GEE - this is a real shocker!  Hey Brett - try some Cruex, or maybe some Gold Bond - that will take care of that "itch"!

Why are we checking blog sites for relevant news?  The official word from Brett Favre on the ESPN broadcast earlier was "It's all rumor," and in a text message later said "no reason for it".  Seriously, ESPN is NOT a news site.  When they start hiring more reporters and less opinion commentators it is at best a video blog aired on television.  ESPN has long lost any of it's credibility as a serious site for news.

The reason I am blasting ESPN is because it was where the story was first reported.

Favre will be back! His competitive nature will not allow him to leave on a high note like last season. He will make one more solid push this season...

I still say he's not coming back.  He admitted at his own press conference that he'd want to come back at some point.  This, apparently, would be that point, but he's not coming back.

most over rated ever? Now there is a joke... hard to call a guy who holds records for wins, mvp's,td's, yards, etc... over rated. Heck, he is still a top 5 QB right now... with that said, I'm ready for the Rogers era...but and agree that a lot of this is BS... but when you say he is most over rated ever... shows personal bias and not reality

That is correct in saying they would have the Top 3 QB's but only 1 can play at a time!

1-1 in Super Bowls.  He hasn't been able to get his team to the big game in a decade.  He's the all-time leader in interceptions to go with those TD passes, and that MVP he "shared" with Barry Sanders was a joke.  Sanders was the outright MVP that year, but everybody loves Brett Favre.

Like I said.  He's a tough guy and may have all the shiny
