Brett Favre not given deadline to announce retirement by Brad Childress

Brad Childress has decided that he won't give Brett Favre a deadline for announcing his retirement, which means get ready for seven months of questions about will Favre retire or not.

Favre insisted after the NFC Championship Game loss in New Orleans that he wouldn't take months to reach a decision, unlike last summer's back and forth. But we all know that's utter BS.

Anyway, not setting a deadline is probably the right thing for Childress to do, since there's no point in him pissing off Favre with a deadline. Favre can waffle back and forth all he wants now. Unfortunately, this also means that Rachel Nichols will probably be camped out at the Favre house until late August - giving us constant updates on Favre's constant indecision.

I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!
