Brock Lesnar Will Defend His Title This Summer

Lesnar will face the winner of the Frank Mir vs. Shane Carwin bout — which takes place at UFC 111. When Lesnar faces the winner of that bout, it will be a title unification match. There is no set date for Lesnar’s return, but many rumors have pointed to a his title defense coming in August when the UFC makes its first trip to Boston.

White also added that if the winner of Mir-Carwin is unhealthy and unable to fight, Lesnar will take on the winner of Cain Velasquez vs. Antonio Rodrigo “Minotauro” Nogueira.
