Steve Phillips was fired from ESPN the other day, and while the network didn't say that it was because he had an affair with a production assistant, we all know that's precisely what happened.
Well, it now appears that the woman Phillips was having an affair with has been fired by the company too. Brooke Hundley is done at ESPN.
Now, I understand that this was a weird situation, where Hundley went Fatal Attraction on Phillips, but the fact remains that ESPN fired these two employees because they had an affair.....but we all know many co-workers at ESPN have done the same thing.
So should ESPN fire all its employees who have affairs with other staffers? I don't know, but the network certainly deserves some flack for this, considering it's well known that married employees at ESPN - just like Phillips - have had affairs or have harassed fellow employees, and gotten away with it.
