Browns considering trading Josh Cribbs
In an effort to rid themselves of all potentially good players, the Browns are now shopping Josh Cribbs
22
WR/return specialist Josh Cribbs has been unhappy with his current contract with the Browns, and it looks like there are quite a few teams interested in his services, including the Dolphins, Colts, Chiefs, Raiders, Jaguars and 49ers.

Cribbs is definitely a special talent, and he might be a difference-maker on teams like the Colts or 49ers, and he might have the capability to turn the Chiefs, Jaguars or Dolphins into somewhat legit contenders. I'm not sure what he could do for the Raiders, but of course he's fast, so Al Davis is interested.

Talent is contagious....they must get rid of him immediately or they will start to score more than 6 pts per game.

an Epic Fail for the city of Cleveland

Well, you can put the Cleveland Browns under the "Epic Fail" catagory along with the AFKATTBB, the Oakland Raiders, and the St.Louis Rams. Cribbs is the only talented player we've got!

He would be a huge help to a lot of teams.

Fire sale ... hmmm ... wonder why the management is letting the coach do this.

I would love to see Cribbs as a Packer.  Our offense could really use a sparkplug not to mention our return game isn't the greatest.

Could you imagine what would happen if he went to the Colts?  Peyton doesn't need a whole lot to make something happen.  But if you give him a short field, he'll pick you apart.  The powers-that-be in Indy should be pushing for this.

Anywhere but the Raiders.......that's what he's praying for!

Cribbs is basically a one trick pony. He is a substandard WR. No team is gonna give up anuything for outside of a low round pick. To call him talented is a stretch. Now he is a good return guy. Unless a contendor is looking for a return guy i cant see him being moved

Luckily the Browns have the Man-Genius, so they don't need to keep their best players.  Things are going so well already.

How about the "Eric" failure category in Cleveland's case

I'd love to see him in SF. The niners have *no* return game right now.

As I have said before the professional sports owners (if you can call them that) in Cleveland, can take a rubber mallet and tear up a tank or screw up a one car funeral. I am still betting that the Cav's will somehow manage to lose LeBron.

I can't see them trading this guy, which is why the Browns will probably pull the trigger...and get a 4th round pick that they will spend on a Division II undersized WR that runs the 40 in 5.3 but has great hands. The Browns are really trying to compete with the Raiders for the crown of mediocrity. But at least the Raiders traded for an all-pro, in Richard Seymour. And I might be crazy, but the Raiders with say, Jeff Garcia, probably would have been a decent team (7-9, 8-8)...Now it's a race between these two teams to get to the off season as quick as possible.

That said, the Steelers could use a guy like Cribbs and just let Logan go...

The Niners once had Joe Cribbs, why not bring in Josh Cribbs.  The 49ers have two number ones next April, their own and Carolina's....  trading deadline 3 days away...

BROWNS FANS HELP US AND DO THE NFL A FAVOR. TAKE THE PAPER BAGS OFF YOUR HEAD AND TELL THE OWNERS, FRONT OFFICE, GM'S, AND COACHES TO STOP GETTING RID OF WHAT TALENT THE BROWNS DO HAVE SO THE REST TEAMS IN THE NFL DON'T RUN OVER TOP OF THE BROWN'S.
IT'S STARTING TO SOUND LIKE AL DAVIS MAY BE RUNNING THE BROWN'S ORGANIZATION.

In other news, Commissioner Goodell is considering trading the Cleveland Browns to the Big Ten Conference.
