It seems the Flames need a little more time than other teams to really "heat up".

Okay, bad pun, but the fact is, they have won their last two games in Overtime, their third OT win of the season. Phaneuf got the winner at 2:50 of the OT period after losing the lead in the third when St. Louis scored on the Power Play. Iginla opened the scoring in the first period to get the Flames ahead.

Coach Sutter said he wanted more from Iginla, as Team Captain, and Jarome is producing. The Flames head back home to Calgary to the H1N1 controversy and take on the New York Rangers Saturday night.

Its odd...because in earlier games, the Flames were pulling out to big leads and then falling asleep; allowing their opponents to get back in the game. Perhaps this change of fortunes is a result of them starting to learn Sutter's system.

Regardless, ever since their cup win, the Flames have been an enigma to me. One night they look unbeatable, the next they look disinterested. Totally frustrating...

1	Calgary has owned the Blues recently in this series and last night was no different. Calgary owned the overtime period before finally getting a shot past Mason.

0	Nice to see them pull together onj the road...much better effort the last 2 games compared to their previous 3 at home. Rangers gonna be a tough contest tho...I'm hoping Phaneuf wakes up and knocks Avery around all game long

0	I am really hoping that the Flames throw it all out there and go for broke. They could just win this one, especially with Phaneuf and Iginla stepping up their offensive play. Kiprusoff just needs an outstanding game, and stop ALL the shots. Damn a shutout would be awesome!
