Calgary Loses 3rd in a Row

Perhaps it was the ceremony honoring Brett Hull that distracted the Flames, perhaps just before Christmas "blues", but whatever the issue, the Calgary Flames lost to the St. Louis Blues Tuesday night.

Calgary has been the top road team this year, and with an 11-5-3 record, want to continue that trend.  Unfortunately, they've dropped the last three games by a single goal.  That's good news in a way, as the games are still close, meaning the Flames haven't lost focus and are still playing good hockey, they just aren't getting the results.  Rene Bourque scored one and had an assist in the St. Louis game, while Jarome Iginla continued his "assists only" trend, now in it's seventh game.

Curtis McElhinney was in net for the Flames.

The Flames are home for the Christmas week, taking on the Kings for the second time in ten days.  The Kings won the last game at home, 2-1
