After scoring a touchdown, Best landed on his head, and the impact took his helmet off. He laid motionless, needed oxygen, and was carted off the field. he is on his way to an area hospital. This page will update as more information is released. please pray for Jahvid right now.

UPDATE #2: Best's injury is officially being listed as a concussion. the grade is still unknown.

2	Cal coach Jeff Tedford said on the radio that Jahvid Best had a concussion, but is OK. I certainly hope that's true.

1	Here's the Cal statement on Best: Preliminarily, Best has a concussion and movement in all his extremities. Thank goodness. Look like he suffered a bad concussion, but will hopefully otherwise be ok.

2	That looked awful, if all he has is a concussion, he's lucky. When I saw that landing my first thought was that he snapped his neck.

0	AP reports that he had a slight concussion last week's game vs arizona state and missed practice tuesday and wednesday because of it.
