I have been a supporter of Bowden,but I have finally opened my eyes,and said "Enough is enough".Tommy Bowden is a good man,graduates his players,and a fantastic recruiter,but HE GETS PAID TO WIN FOOTBALL GAMES!Something he is not doing enough of.
Year after year,there is always a different excuse why we didn't get the job done.I for one don't lay all the blame on Bowden,but he is the head coach.The first step in my opinion is to show OC Rob Spence the door.With talent like Clemson has on offense there are NO EXCUSE for the lackluster offensive performances.
Last week Clemson's high powered offense just flat got out coached in the second half.Maryland made second half adjustments for which Clemson had no answers.I think a good coach at the half would have though far enough ahead to prepare for the adjustments Maryland would have made.
The season can still be salvaged,but not with Spence still calling plays.I think Bowdens only hope for saving his job is dumping "The Mad Scientist"Spence,then I don't know if that will be enough.
I cant speak for other Clemson fans,but me for one,am tired of living with what could have been.ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!
