Cardinals lower trade demands for Anquan Boldin
In an effort to move their sand to someone else's beach, Arizona Cardinals reduce trade demands for Anquan Boldin.
With the draft coming up tomorrow afternoon, the Arizona Cardinals seem to be progressing on granting disgruntled WR Anquan Boldin his wish to be traded.  The New York Jets, Philadelphia Eagles, and New York Giants are reportedly interested.

At first when I heard they wanted a first rounder I understood why Dallas might be out of it but now that they have dropped - I was really hoping the Cowboys would be in the discussion

Looks like the Titans have swooped in as well.  Recent reports have mentioned his injury history as a big red flag, and also say that his possible arthritic hip may limit his career greatly within the next 3-4 years.  I think he is a great and tough player, but do you really want to overpay for him?  At 28, a second rounder alone seems about fair, but the $8-10 mil contract he wants could be more debilitating of a factor.

It would be great for the Bears to pair up Jay Cutler with a Pro-Bowl wide receiver.  Since the Bears plan to take a receiver with their 2nd round pick anyway, why not get a proven commodity instead.

Two great offensive moves for Angelo in one offseason?  I think heads would explode league-wide.

That's for sure.  I'm don't even think the Home Scoreboard at Soldier Field goes higher than 21 points.

That's interesting, it must've been made by the same company that made the one in Oakland too...

Naw, in Oakland the visitor score is frequently over 21 so that can't be it.

They aren't exactly a model franchise, so draw your own conclusions.

No - definitely don't want to overpay...but isn't that what Jerry does best?? :)

I hate to see him go, but he's injury-prone, his best years are getting behind him, and I'm sick of reading about what a cry-baby he is in the local papers. Hopefully there's a fair value in return.

Anquan Boldin to the Cowboys for their 2nd rounder, 2010 first rounder, the cleat Haynesworth stomped Andre Gurode with, and a garbage bag of Pacman's "Make It Rain" money.

To be fair, the local papers are going to bash him because he supposedly wants out.  It's the media's job to scrutinize him and if he did go to another team, their papers would be talking about how great of a player he is.  Good to see the Cards sit on him and do nothing, but if this issue is addressed again a year from now, the Cards better hope his value doesn't go the way of Chad Johnson Ochocino.
