Case Keenum has a great case for the Heisman Trophy

Case Keenum has been one of the best QB's in college football this year... yet you keep hearing names like Tim Tebow and Colt McCoy ahead of him in Heisman Trophy conversations. If Keenum played for Florida or Texas, it's pretty safe to say that he's be at the top of most people's lists. But since he plays for Houston, he's not getting the recognition that he probably deserves.

He's not too caught up in it, though, which is a good sign for him and his team.

"I don’t know what to think about all that. That’s a lot of stuff I don’t know about and am not experienced with. I’m going to ignore that as much as possible and just do what I do. I would rather be on the practice field taking a snap and not answering questions about it."

Do you think that Keenum should be given serious Heisman consideration? I'm thinking that there's no doubt that he at least deserves to be mentioned in the same breath as guys like Tebow and McCoy. Anything less would be a travesty.
