You don't pull on Superman's cape,  You don't mess with the Lone Rangers mask,   and you give a legend a great deal of RESPECT.   We have fewer players of class out there and evidently  fewer executives with class!

Oh that is just sick and wrong.  Bob Cousy is a living basketball God and a pretty damn fine color commentator too.  It's bad enough he's been let go, but by phone?  That's horrible.

“Some low-level executive called me,” Cousy said yesterday from his Worcester home, “and basically said that they decided to do two-man booths and they no longer needed my services. I said thank you very much, have a good year and I hung up on him.”

That was the part that I personally thought was the worst of this story. (Emphasis added by me)
