Chargers Run the Wildcat with LT...It's About Time

LaDainian Tomlinson lines up in the Wildcat formation and runs for a 6-yard TD giving San Diego a 7-0 lead. Look at the room LT has on this 1st and Goal from the 6. The career mark for NFL Rushing TDs is now in jeopardy again...Emmitt Smith 164... Tomlinson 129!

After watching Norv Turner try to smash LT up the gut like he was Jim Brown or Earl Campbell, I'd have to say that I am extremely excited about this option in the Chargers offense. The Bolts running game has been atrocious this season, so why not do what the Dolphins and Eagles are doing. Besides, LT has thrown for 7 career TD passes, so why the Bolts haven't mixed in the Wildcat before just boggles the mind?

1	as much as i like LT and think the wildcats a great weapon as long as the broncos beat the chargers again i dont care what they do

It doesnt matter what formation the Chargers use right now, LT isnt getting off. The OLine is horrible right now. There is a reason the Chargers are ranked 31st in running the ball (75 yds/game). Its not going to change based off playing the Raiders and Chiefs- who have poor rushing defenses. I do think they will improve somewhat when Hardwick returns. But remember LT owns the raiders and his only TD's thi season have been against the Raiders this year.
