Vancouver had hopes that they would be able to overcome the strength of the Blackhawks and somehow prevail, but it was not to be.

With the Blackhawks dominating win over the Canucks tonight, Chicago becomes the second team to move to the Final Four.  They join the San Jose Sharks and will now wait to see which teams will join them in the next round.

Wednesday night, the Montreal Canadiens and the Pittsburgh Penguins will play in game 7 to decide who will become the third team, while Boston and Philadelphia also meet in a must win situation for the Flyers.  Boston leads that series 3-2 and can also clinch a Final Four spot with a win.

A win for Philadelphia will have game seven  on Friday night.
