Chien-Ming Wang is headed to the DL after a shoulder strain, and manager Joe Girardi isn't sure how long he'll be there (I'm sure most Yankees fans hope it's forever).

"He has a shoulder strain and they want to give it a rest and a chance to build back up a bit, and when we get back he'll start playing catch," Girardi said. "It's a week off in a sense, but we have the All-Star break, so it ends up being two weeks."

Wang is a brutal 1-6 with a 9.64 ERA in 12 games this season.

0	Its good to see that..the guy was tough but just hasnt been the same...and girardi has been giving him way too many chances to get his groove back....needless to say, he hasnt...i believe this was just comin....time to move on without him and hopefully he can recover and find success somewhere else!
