Chris "Beanie" Wells will go pro, leaving Ohio State University for the NFL Draft
Beanie Wells is tired of sitting out for free, will now be injured in the NFL instead.

Smart move with his recent injury history. Also I'm sure his family is happy with the move as well.

I don't know.....he's not that fast, not that elusive, not a power runner or great receiver, not a returner, and with his injury history it wouldn't surprise me to see him last until round 3................

He will need great draft workouts to get into Round 1, IMO.

If he lasts until the 3rd round someone is getting a steal.  And if the Browns let him slide that far and not take him I am beating someone's a$$

He is a power runner...are you serious????  You must be staring at Milani too much.  (not that there is a problem with that).  Wells ran all over the #2 ranked defense in the nation.  TEXAS (lol, that stat was skewed).  Will be a solid NFL RB...no doubt

What RB's do you take over him?  Ringer, Moreno, James Davis??, Shonn Greene..thats all I got.  Maybe Damian Fletcher if he comes out

per cleveland.com  "Wells is projected as a certain first-round pick and is likely to be the first running back taken in the draft on April 25."

McShay is an idiot.  Honestly, don't see him getting past Cleveland at 5.  Denver another RB?  WIth Shanahan gone?  I doubt it.  They won't draft an OSU RB since the Clarett fiasco

You sir are crazy: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lYpTnYDqa0w

tell me that isn't elusive! he is also a great power back. if i had to pick his specialty, power would be it. he busts tackles and breaks free often. he also has great speed at his weight. i guarantee he is 4.48 or lower at the combine

I agree, however I think he will get snatched one spot ahead of Cleveland, by Seahawks.

Also the Broncos are still smarting from drafting Butler By'Not'e.

Seattle had better go wr ...with Crabtree possibly out there or even Dez  White or the kid from UNC. Plus if my draft plan for Seattle goes right they will get the steal of the draft when they pick up Ian Johnson from Boise in the 5th

Whatever 40 Wells runs, and his fastest hand timed 40 was 4.46-converted to electronic that's 4.52-4.53, the things that the talent evaluators will want to see are his 3-cone, short shuttle and hew he catches the ball.  Nobody wants to be stuck with another Tyrone Wheatley, he was big-235 and fast: his 10.59 100M in high school is still the 3rd fastest in Michigan, he was faster than Wells and almost as big.  Wells needs to show agility and hands.  He will likely go somewhere between #6 and #12.

Did you mean Dez Bryant the WR from OK State?  He's a sophomore, not a burner and having ankle surgery. Dez White was drafted in 2000 out of Ga. Tech by the Bears in the 3rd round.
