Chris Forcier's ridiculous press release announcing his transfer from UCLA
Fact: Former UCLA QB Chris Forcier came up with the greatest press release ever.
And here's the press release:

Fact: I was a National Recruit out of High School including multiple Pac-10 offers.

Fact: I was a scout.com (4) Star QB labeled as a dual-threat. I learned a complicated offense that calls for a pocket passing QB.

Fact: I'm a life long UCLA Fan. I love UCLA Football. Most Bruin fans have been very supportive/good people.

Fact: I've always worked hard in the classroom as a student athlete where I've been recognized as a UCLA Honor Roll student.

Fact: I've competed hard in games and on the practice field, in film and meetings where I've always come prepared, attentive, always taking notes.

Fact: I believe my UCLA teammates respect me, especially the defense since my freshman year including past D-Coordinator Coach Walker.

Fact: I was practice player of the week as a freshman multiple times.

Fact: New QB Coach Norm Chow and New Head Coach Rick Neuheisel have brought in and played since day (1) their own guys (Quarterbacks), i.e. Kevin Craft.

Fact: In late February New QB Coach Norm Chow told me that the younger guys would get most of the QB reps in Spring Ball.

Fact: This is a pattern nationally. When New Coaches come in, they recruit their own guys, especially at the quarterback position. It's just like the corporate world, New Owners bring in New Management. With that being said, I do not fault them.

Fact: In early March 2009, after seeing the writing on the wall, I reluctantly requested a meeting with Coach Neuheisel. In our meeting, I respectfully requested a "Permission to Contact Letter" NCCA bylaws 13.1.1.3 Personal request attached, not to be confused with a 'Release" as it was inaccurately reported by Brian Dohn of Inside UCLA, the Bruin Report and a few others.

Fact: My heart is at the Quarterback position. I have several solid options around the country to play. My quandary is and always has been that I also love UCLA.

Fact: I've always been a "team player" and have done what has been asked of me. Including but not limited to practicing WR in this years spring ball. Not to be confused with moving permanently to the position as it was again inaccurately reported.

Fact: In 2007, I was (1) of the top (7) Quarterbacks in the country. However, none of that matters unless there is true opportunity to compete afforded.

Fact: I have reached my decision "Furman University" Greenville, South Carolina.

Fact: I like and believe in Head Coach Bobby Lamb's system and style. I am looking forward to the challenges at Furman University.

Fact: I would like to wear #7 as I did in High School at Saint Augustine in San Diego, California.

Fact: I want to be part of the "Greatness of Fuhman University" academic's.

I had to look up FU to make sure it wasn't a joke.  Evidently they have a football team.

The Forcier's might be the biggest trio of douchebags to ever play college football.  Need more proof?  Check out their gem of a website....

Fact: I would really like to not have a career as a pro so that is why I am choosing Furman.

Another thing about the Forcier's...if they are so good, why do they keep transferring?

I don't know who this guy is, but it is evident that he doesn't understand you can't start a statement with "FACT" and then say "I believe".  It's not  a fact then.  It's a personal belief.  What a toolbox.

Fact:  Chris Forcier will never get laid again.

ps.  I checked out their website, and under Chris's page, under "College offers"  he has schools listed from Arkansas all the way to Miami (FL) and Texas A&M.  How the hell do you end up at FU, a school nobody has ever heard of?

Fact: When someone puts out a press release like this, you can't really expect them to make intelligent decisions like transferring to a decent football school.

Well as the only member of the Q who does both give two $^&s and a frogs fart about UCLA football I would like to say to Chris these following facts:

Fact: This is right up their with Arian Foster's pterodactyl comments

Fact: You are not that good and if you are, then you are not demonstrating that very well. Sure the new coaching staff has their guys, but as bad as the QB play was last season you can't tell me that the coaching staff wouldn't have given you more of a shot if you had better command of the offense.

Fact: You and the other Forcier's are nuts. It seems that if the Forcier clan worked more on being better QB's when they get to a D-1 school, than working to be recruited by D-1 schools maybe this QB thing would be working out better.

Fact: Neiheisel is trying to get this program back on its feet, so he going to do what he thinks is best for UCLA. So do not get all hurt that he suggested that you play WR. Hey it did not work out so badly for Drew Bennett.

Fact: I will not lose sleep over you leaving.

Fact: Forcier needs to chill out a bit and work on being a kid instead of a walking quote machine.

You know football.  UC recruited a young talented QB out of Colerain, OH (just happens to be my former high school) by the name of Dominic Goodman.  This guy, as a QB, would rush for over 500 yards by halftime. He would throw for another 200-300 yards on top of that.  He was recruited as a QB by UC under Mark Dantonio.  When  Brian Kelley took over, Goodman was made into a wide reciever, and in short order became the team's record-breaking reciever.  Also Conner Barwin played three years as a TE before Kelley made him a DE.  He got drafted in Rd 2.  Coaches are there for a reason. They can spot talent, and will put each body in the spot they will benefit the team the most.
