I just got my weekly copy of Nascar Scene and Steve Waid wrote an article about Richard Petty compared to Jimmie Johnson. I don't believe Mr. Waid was around Nascar in 1967, but I sure was...
Im not a huge fan of the 48, but watching him make history is kind of fun. But I can also see where it comes to a point where fans are tired of seeing him win championships. Kinda like people got tired of watching the Chicago Bulls win, etc. But when you exude excellence the way the 48 team has done the last several years, some might wonder what they are doing to so right that makes others lack the competitiveness needed in this time honored sport.
