Cowboys most hated NFL team, Vick a sympathetic figure according to NFL fans

The Cowboys are the most hated NFL team, people don't hate Mike Vick that much, and other interesting poll results related to the NFL.

ESPN has done some kind of massive NFL poll to get fans' takes on a variety of NFL topics. Perhaps the easiest one was, which team do you hate the most? The Cowboys won that distinction.

Also interesting, Michael Vick is a sympathetic figure. Relatively speaking, anyway. Forty-four percent of respondents said they would like to see the suspended former star succeed upon his return, easily outpacing Plaxico (14 percent) and Donte Stallworth (13 percent). Twenty-nine percent said they hoped none of them would succeed.

There are total of 25 polls with results. Perhaps the least surprising, 77% of fans wish they could bet on games from where they live. Hell. Yes.

3	Interesting poll & results. Think it's intriguing that 29% hope that Vick, Plax, & Stallworth don't succeed at all in the NFL...such a vindictive yet seemingly justified response. Mike Vick & Chad Ocho Cinco sure are the popular topics there too.

2	I bet the Cowboys would have been the most loved team too, if the geniuses over at ESPN/SportsNation had thought to ask that question. Seems a little more relevant than asking 870,000 people whether or not they like the Super Bowl halftime show...

My friends don't get why vick, prisoned for dog-fighting, got a worse sentence than Stallworth, who was driving while drunk, hit a guy and killed him. Now I'm questioning that, yes it wasn't on purpose but it's still a mans life and the fact he was drunk makes it no better.

I do hope Vick gets another shot and does well, I also agree that I hate the Cowboys, mostly because Jerry Jones doesn't get the job done for 'em. It's disappointing that Americas Team is the most hated.

1	I agree with #'s 9,14, and 19. I'm on the fence on #10. I totally disagree with #11. We don't need a college style OT. I totally agree with #15 and #21. #23 blows me away. Why did the voters leave out BROWNS-STEELERS rivalry. I don't understand that at all; and yes we don't need PG-13 style halftime shows.

It's more of a rivalry between the Steelers and Ravens than it is between the Steelers and Browns. When Modell moved the team, the rivalry went with it. The new Browns aren't a rivalry to the Steelers, unfortunately for them they're a doormat, having beaten them a total of 3 times since they returned to the league in 1999 and haven't won since the first matchup in 2003. I've said for a few years that Ravens/Steelers is a bigger rivalry than Browns/Steelers.
