Cowboys players visit mentally disabled fan after his memorabilia was stolen
After a mentally disabled man's memorabilia collection was stolen, the Dallas Cowboys stepped up big time.

A collection of Dallas Cowboys memorabilia was stolen from a mentally disabled man's house, but with the efforts of the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Autograph Society, he was able to get some replacements, and then some.

Cowboys players Bradie James and Cory Proctor went to the man's house, met him, took pictures with him, and dropped off some "replacement' memorabilia that had been donated to the Texas Autograph Society. They brought him autographed pictures, posters, cards, a new Tony Romo jersey and of course the chance to meet a couple of the players.

As much as I love to rip them, this was definitely a classy move by the Cowboys and the TAS to take a bad situation and make it a little better for one of their fans.

Were they able to retrieve the rolled up dollar bill that used to belong to Michael Irvin?

I hate the Cowboys more than any team in sports. But that was awesome of them to do that. Kudos.

Agreed - glad to see the organization in the news for something positive.

PR reps are using it to their advantage? Maybe, but it can be looked at many ways.  Still classy.

That just makes me sick. Not that it's right to steal from anyone, but come on. Stealing from the mentally challenged is like stealing from a child. I hope they catch the stupid bastards hocking the stuff on ebay.

While I still do hate the Cowboys, it's nice to see people stepping up and making this mans day better.

This is about to be a banner event...I'm about to compliment the Cowboys.

Good job.

This compliment will never happen again.

No, but they did get the crack pipe that he took away from his cousin and hid under the drivers seat of his car.

They should now give him the opportunity to replace Romo at QB. Honestly, he'd at least hold onto the ball.

Mentally disabled Cowboys Fan? Come on, isn't that kind of redundant?

Mentally disabled Cowboys Fan? Is there any other kind?

Mentally disabled Cowboys Fan? Isn't that a requirement for season tix in the new stadium?

Man... just way too many jokes here. They basically write themselves!
