Jay Cutler has more salt to add to his wounds after being fined by the league. Roger Goodell and company fined the struggling quarterback $20K for his comments to an official during the Bears November 8th game against the Arizona Cardinals.
Yeah, he should. Good stuff, John. At least we can celebrate our misery.
No kidding. Well you know what they say, misery loves company. The worst part about this season is that we don't have any draft picks to look forward to come April.
He was fined for his actions last week, not last night. However, it's still early so he may have said something last night that we don't know about. In fact, I'd say there's a very good chance because Jay doesn't ever seem to think anything is his fault.

true i saw a little vulgarity last night but i mean come on this guy is consistantly looking worse each game i mean at the beginning of the season i thought it was the biggest mistake ever getting rid of him no its almost a relief

The offensive line isn't doing him any help and his receivers aren't anything to write home about, but I'm done making excuses for Cutler until he gets his act together. He needs to realize that he can't make every throw and quit trying to force things that aren't there. His demeanor after bad plays rubs me the wrong way as well. He's a captain and he needs to start acting like it.
yea he definetly has potential at being a great but i mean he was throwing stupid passes in denver. i mean this season might be good for him most great quarter backs have a terrible a** season this might do him some good and help him understand he needs improving.
He threw 5 brown bombs (turds) to the 49er's and they were willing to catch em'. Helmets off to the defensive player that elected to catch a bear turd. At least they turned a piece of sh*t into a few points. Sorry had to put it that way, but I calls em like I see's em.
He's lucky Ed Hochuli didn't take the law into his own hands. $20,000 is a small price to pay for f***ing with Edward G. Hochuli. I've seen better men die for less.

Come on now. If you want to get on him for the interceptions or forcing throws, fine, but his demeanor after bad plays??? Isn't that a bit much? In fact, last night after a pick (on which Hester decided to lie down as the ball was coming to him) I saw Cutler get knocked flat on a blindside block, get right up and finish the ball carrier off on the sideline. There was no quit in him after that bad play. To be honest, I don't notice any change in him after good plays or bad.
Of course, last night his demeanor after bad plays was simply his demeanor for the game! LOL
notice Cutler is starting to Pout like a baby, like someone we so LOVE, Time to get out the "binky's" and distribute them to all the bears, forget the mouth guards. If they are forced to wear binkys maybe they wil stop acting like babies. Next step, Huggies and Pampers.

We must be watching two different players because from what I see, Jay pouts the majority of the time after making a mistake. I commend him for his hustle on the play you're referring to, but I've never questioned his competitiveness. Maybe that attribute is the reason for his poor play lately.
I'm not putting all the blame on Jay, but he needs to realize that throwing it away or taking a sack is better than throwing a pick. The atrocious play by the offensive line and the cast of mediocre receivers don't help matters, that's for sure.
