Dany Heatley had requested a trade from the Ottawa Senators. And then, the Senators worked out a deal with the Edmonton Oilers.

Unfortunately for all parties involved, it looks like Heatley is not interested in the Oilers, and is exercising his no-trade clause. Now, the Senators might have to pay a $4M bonus that was supposed to be due July 1. That could definitely change things in their future trade talks, and make Heatley MUCH harder to deal.

0	I think it would be a good deal if they ship heatly to edmonton for Smid, Penner and Cogliano.....I would also trade Smith

Brutal. Trade me, WHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAA. I'm traded? SWEET! Oh wait, not there, I want somewhere else. Remind me, how many of the following has Heatley won? Stanley Cups? Hart trophy? Conn Smythe? Richard Trophy? Etc......You're a player Dany but not one who can dictate his terms like this, too many guys ahead of you on the ladder. Show up, play and shut up.
