Derek Jeter is acting in a movie with Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell

Derek Jeter is halfway to winning an Oscar. And he'll deserve it just as much as his Gold Glove awards.

Derek Jeter is working on his post-baseball career, venturing into Hollywood for a little acting, with Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell. Jeter plays a homeless guy, which is perfect, because he's pretty much the exact opposite of homeless.

The movie is called "The Other Guys", but I have a feeling I'll be skipping this one. But no worries... Jeter will probably win an Oscar. And he'll deserve it just as much as his Gold Gloves.

0	Seems a lot of people here have forgotten the stories on 60 Minutes and others about the "homeless" who aren't. They pan handle and get so much money they can live and support themselves better than a lot of us. As far as the outfit...again,people (us) do from time to time give these "homeless" clothes,shoes,etc.

3	wouldn't it be cooler if they gfot an actual homeless dude to play this part? there's probably the same level of acting abilities, a lower makeup and wardrobe cost and the bum gets to walk away with a paycheck and perhaps a second chance...the rich get richer and the poor get poorer.
