Hindsight is 20-20 and what my hindsight is telling me is that the Los Angeles Lakers missed out on Trevor Ariza. As of writing, Ariza has been flourishing with the Houston Rockets...
Artest has been solid thus far for the Lakers and with Ariza and Artest being pretty close with what they have to offer, I would much rather have someone like Artest who wants to be in LA than Ariza who takes money over rings.
I think NBA basketball players must treat there decisions like any business. If the money is available take advantage of the resources. The player understands they could have a life threaten injury with know funds invested prior to the injury.
He added a great deal to last seasons championship win. He was dependable in a pinch.
I do not see the point in getting rid of (a secret weapon) the quiet person in the background who can contribute when the going gets tough.
I like Trevor Ariza also, and in my opinion, he is definitely a good ball player. A little more money would have kept him in LA!
NO, I think it was good we got rid of him. We didn't need that attitude in the locker room and on the court.
What attitude, MONEY.
But, we got a better player....Ron Artest is much a better player

Ron Artest may be a better player. But on the court and off-court attitudes on whose the leader for the lakers. I think if Ron stays with the lakers, he must understand that Kobe is the leader and motivator for the team. This one team
