Doc Rivers says that players under 190 pounds should be able to fight on the court
Doc Rivers has the best solution ever for point guards getting into scraps: ''Let 'em fight''
14
Doc  Rivers, after the spat between Rajon Rondo and Chris Paul, made it clear how he feels such issues should be taken care of:

I proposed to the refs that if you’re under 190, you should let them fight. Just let them get it out of the way. They can’t hurt each other. It’s impossible. That would be great, and it would be good entertainment. Then we could move on and play the game.

I'm not sure if I agree that they can't hurt each other, because I've seen some guys who are under 190 pounds hurt each other quite a bit. That being said, this would be highly entertaining, if nothing else. Obviously it would never happen, but it has my vote.

Rory McDonald is 190...and he's an MMA fighter. And I dare say he would whip Rivers' a**

I've seen Bill Laimbeer and Charles Barkley get into fights in their playing days! Can you imagine Rondo going toe to toe with 1 of those 2? Dadburn!!

Doc Rivers is one othe best leader/ coaches in the NBA. He's humble, but means business. He deserves respect from his players. If they give him the respect he deserves by showing up on time, giving 100% in practice and during gametime they will always be contenders. The thing that makes this group of players exceptional is that they are so unique. Each one of them brings something different, I feel, to the team, as they should. However your individuality should accent the team not take away from team productivity. So if you respect leadersip and each other  and use what I know they have, talent. They are a talented group of men. However there is talent all over the place. There has to be something that sets you apart. You have to be on one accord. Each individual talent fitting into the spot it is suppose to.

First off,  Rondo is a dirty player.  Might I say the dirtiest player in the NBA.  The league needs to watch him.   Secondly, Doc Rivers is a complete idiot who obviously really likes the fact that Rondo plays dirty.   How about we set up a fight between him and Mike Brown or Urijah Faber.  I'm sure one those guys would change his mind.

Yes, Doc. Nothing would be better than having your point guard suspended for half the season.

Maybe I'm wrong, but the little I've seen of Rondo the last few years leads me to believe he would beat Chris Paul down.

For some reason I really don't think Doc likes his best player under 30. I will never understand this.

and then they could have one of the bigger guys hold the ball up in the air and watch them jump up and try to get it.  Wearing panda costumes.  Pandas can't hurt anybody either.
