Just caught this article myself. I think the more interesting part of this is how the last 8 or so teams are ranked. The overall rankings seem to be more or less directly reflective of Win/Loss records though, which isn't truly indicative of a few of the teams' performances over the last 9 seasons as a whole. However, Don Banks did gain an extra point or two with me.

So it's HIS fault they drafted Alex Smith and then proceeded to have a different O-coordinator every year? Or is his fault they hired Dennis Erickson? The Yorks have been worse than Al Davis has been over the past 15 or so years, and the Niners are right about where they should be. The Yorks have killed your Niners, not Don Banks.

It's strange to hear that Al Davis is doing a better job than somebody, anybody. But you're absolutely correct...the Yorks have single-handedly taken down what was once a model franchise and made it...well, you can fill in the blanks.

Yes, and it's probably the only compliment I will give to Al Davis for the last 15 years or so. At least he has managed to put together a very quality team for several years during that span, without paying as much as Dan Snyder, without looking as foolish as the duo of William Clay Ford Sr. and Matt Millen, and without (as you stated) tearing down what was once a model franchise as the Yorks have.
