Drew Rosenhaus working for hockey fans to lower Florida Panthers season ticket prices
In an amazing twist of irony, Drew Rosenhaus now says he's working for a group of fans
14
According to his Twitter account, Drew Rosenhaus says that he "has been hired by Florida Panthers fans to negotiate lower season ticket prices".

This almost sounds like a joke... could it be true? Could Drew Rosenhaus really be working for the fans?

Rosenhaus may be a jackass, but he's a smart jackass who's good at negotiations. Although, why would he bother to do this? Eh, whatever. The Panthers are screwed.

For once, I actually wish him success. I would be happy to hire him to reduce the costs of my Falcons season tickets, which have gone from $36 per game in 2002 to $107 this year for the same seats.

In other news, I would kill for the opportunity to get tickets for ANY Patriots game for only $107 each.

Rosenhaus is a mercenary if there is money in it he will take it. Don't get confused by thinking he's working for the little man, their are a lot of filthy rich Carolina Panther season ticket holders.

Isn't this about the time an owner would start negotiating terms of getting out of his lease and moving the team elsewhere?

Breaking news story:

I would gladly trade the fact that my team has never even had back to back winning seasons for three Super Bowls.

Please.....What a joke??  This has Sportscenter commercial all over it.....Doesn't that ruin the purpose of his clients to getting more money from teams if they lower ticket prices?   Simply put, ticket prices aren't for casual fans anymore, it's for big wigs & corporations that have money to shell out for them.

Well, I really think tix are usually a good deal even when they are $100 plus for a game. If you want to negotiate something, how about getting a .25 hot dog for 1.00 instead of 6.00, or a 2.00 beer for 3.50 instead of 12.00.

That's where you get killed is on food, beverages and souvenirs. Tix are really a bargin when you look at those other markups.
