Duke ends it's exhibition season at 2-0 after hammering the defending Division II National Champion Findlay something or others 84-48. Singler had 20, Scheyer had 19 and the Duke D held Findlay to 25.3% from the floor.
While I'd never base any real expectations for the season on an exhibition win, it is interesting when you see a team with the history, prestige, coaching and talent of a Syracuse get beaten by LeMoyne. I don't think that loss has any real bearing on what Syracuse will do this year, nor do I think this win has any real bearing on what Duke will do this year.
Up next for the 'devils is UNC Greensboro on Friday the 13th. These games against intrastate rivals can be difficult, as both Duke and UNC know. Hopefully Friday the 13th will be lucky for Duke.
